Feds shoot and injure Arnulfo Hernandez in botched raid in Victorville

Victorville does not seem to be able to catch a break when it comes to police state violence. Perhaps that is why the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department was so quick to issue a press release denying any involvement in the affair. Later more details came out about who was involved. Here is a link to the article from the Victor Valley Daily Press:

Rialto PD shoots and injures Darnell White III, 32

This story has gotten some press, including TV coverage. The officer is claiming that the victim pulled an assault rifle on him. And despite apparently hitting him, the brother was still able to escape? Something doesn't quite add up here...

Claremont PD shoot and injure unidentified victim

Apparently this happened on Cinco de Mayo but I am just getting wind of it now. This coverage from a TV news station doesn't have many details. Its not even clear if the vehicle was actually stolen, like the officers suspected (if we can believe their side of the story, that is). But it does talk about how the cops are claiming that the driver used the vehicle as a "weapon," which is a continuation of a trend we have been observing lately.

Here's the story from KTLA:

Riverside sheriff's deputy tries to shoot family dog, shoots own leg instead

Finally, a little bit of justice in the news, even if that justice is of the poetic variety. This unidentified deputy, an agent of the court, was serving someone some paperwork over on the East Side when he got spooked by the dog, who was probably just trying to protect its family from the act of aggression like any good dog would. And the deputy, rather than dealing with the situation like a rational human being, opted to take out his weapon and shoot at the dog. However, due to factors unknown, although presumably not more than utter ineptitude, the officer shot only himself.

Coachella police shoot and injure man

They are accusing the shooting victim of assault with a deadly weapon, saying they found a stabbing victim on site. Wishing the best for the injured and hoping for much more clarification on the part of the authorities.
