Off-duty cop shoots at (and misses) youngsters in Moreno Valley

Another incident from the beginning of the month. We know that these officers are shooting at people all the time, but it is amazing that even when they are off-duty, they are given the same anonymity as when they shoot in the line of duty. This case is particularly cryptic--the agency he works for is not disclosed, and even though the victims (referred to by the police state as "suspects") are not charged with anything, (i.e., didn't do anything) there is no investigation or charges brought against the aggressor.

Here's another case of both a cop shooting someone while off-duty, like the recent Chino Hills road rage case, and of the police unreasonably refusing to disclose innocuous information--in this case, the agency the killer cop works for. (In the Chino Hills case, we eventually learned what agency the shooter worked for.) We still don't know the brother's age or many other details, but if we find anything out, we'll let you know.
