SB Sheriffs falsely arrest special needs woman in Hesperia

The San Bernardino Sheriff's Department doesn't seem to be able to do anything right these days. We see again the same attitude toward the civilian population or anyone else seen as "less-than," such as the disabled sister in the article. This case should be investigated and prosecuted as a false arrest and kidnapping and deputies should be disciplined appropriately. Here's a link to the article from the VV Daily Press:

RPD Lieutenant DUI - UPDATE

rQRo's picture

Since we brought you this story, the Christopher Dorner manhunt has enraptured all of our attention, but especially those of us at CopWatch IE. We will be putting something out shortly. For now, we want to bring you this update on the last story we filed here, about Ly. Gonzalez getting special treatment from his coworkers after getting caught driving drunk in a department vehicle. The sheriff's department put out a press release about it, apparently undermining RPD's story that driving DUI suspects home is a "common practice."

Another DUI crash by RPD, and another case of the offender getting treated with kid gloves by his co-workers. The P-E has video up that has a little bit more detail than the text of the article, so we encourage our readers and supporters to go the website and watch it:

SB sheriff's deputy accused of unlawful sex with inmate

rQRo's picture

Here's another story of sexual misconduct by SB sheriff's deputies in the jails, only this time, it's up at Glen Helen as opposed to at West Valley. As we mentioned earlier, our group has nothing against sex per se, we just expect public officials to follow laws, rules, and regulations. Furthermore, the power imbalance between detainee and guard renders any relationship, as "consensual" as it may be, ethically questionable to say the least. Here's the information we have:
